To support the refurbishment and extension of Cottingham Parks Golf & Leisure Club, Helix FMS were commissioned to deliver two key passive fire safety services:
A full Passive Fire Protection survey and installation
Complete Fire Door Installation across both floors
The dual-service project was designed to upgrade fire compartmentation throughout the building and ensure all door sets met modern compliance standards. We began with a comprehensive survey of the specified fire-rated walls, followed by the delivery of certified fire-stopping works. Our trained surveyors and accredited installers ensured all remediation actions aligned with industry standards and Helix CMS’s programme of works.
Upon completion, all defects were sealed using tested and certified fire-stopping systems. A Passive Fire Protection Register and cross-referenced, marked-up drawings were submitted to the client, detailing all completed works and recommendations for future improvements.
Helix FMS also carried out the installation of new fire door sets throughout both floors of the Cottingham Parks building. The scope of works included the removal of non-compliant or old fire doors and the installation of certified fire door sets by third-party accredited fire door installers. The fire door works ensure proper compartmentation across the leisure club’s key escape routes, service areas, and public zones.
