Helix FMS was instructed by Lodestone Projects to undertake a comprehensive fire safety and acoustic protection package on the second floor of Cherry Tree Court, focusing on both fire-rated and non-fire-rated walls.
Our objective was to identify, assess, and remediate penetrations that compromised compartmentation and sound attenuation. Delivering certified passive fire protection works and acoustic sealing across the identified areas.
We carried out a detailed survey of all wall penetrations on the second floor. The remit covered both fire-rated and non-fire-rated partitions. Our certified passive fire protection team proceeded to seal all fire-rated wall penetrations using tested and approved fire-stopping systems. For non-fire-rated walls, we applied acoustic sealing products to maintain soundproofing standards.
Cherry Tree Court now benefits from restored fire compartmentation integrity and improved acoustic performance on the second floor. The client received detailed documentation confirming that all penetrations were treated in accordance with regulatory guidance.
