Helix FMS was appointed by Hobson & Porter to support the safe delivery of the newly constructed Waltham Primary School in Grimsby through the implementation of robust passive fire protection measures.

As with all educational environments, fire safety is paramount. Effective compartmentation ensures that students, staff, and visitors are protected, and that the building meets legal compliance under fire safety legislation.

Our team was instructed to undertake a comprehensive passive fire protection survey of the ground floor of the new school building. Following this, we were commissioned to carry out certified fire-stopping works across all identified areas.

All fire-stopping and acoustic sealing works were installed using tested and approved systems in accordance with relevant building regulations and manufacturer specifications.
